# Simple Voice Calculator

> Simple Voice Calculator is a voice calculator app for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Vision Pro, made by Vito Software. You say a calculation ("42.75 plus 19.99 plus 120"), each number appears on screen as its own block you can check or fix, and the total can be read back aloud. It keeps listening while you use other apps, with the running total shown in the Dynamic Island and on the Lock Screen through a Live Activity. Free on the App Store with no ads; Pro is optional.

## Key facts

- Platforms: iPhone (iOS 16.0 or later), iPad (iPadOS 16.0 or later), Apple Watch (watchOS 10.5 or later, a dedicated Watch app with watch face complications), Vision Pro (visionOS 1.0 or later).
- Voice input for addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, parentheses, decimals and percentages. The total updates while you speak; no "equals" needed. Say "stop" to finish hands-free.
- Every spoken number shows as a separate block, so one misheard number can be fixed with a tap instead of starting over.
- Announce Total reads the result aloud (free setting, off by default).
- Works in other apps: tap the microphone, switch to a bank app, PDF, spreadsheet, email or Notes, and read the numbers out loud. The app keeps listening in the background. A Live Activity shows a microphone and the running total in the Dynamic Island; touch and hold it to see the full equation. On iPhones without a Dynamic Island it shows on the Lock Screen and in Notification Center. Needs iOS 16.4 or later. On by default (Settings > Live Activity While Recording). Free.
- Speech recognition runs on-device with Apple's speech framework, and the app works offline. Vito Software does not collect data from the app.
- Languages: English, German, Italian, Spanish (Europe and Latin America), Hindi and Korean, following the iPhone's language.
- Accessibility: VoiceOver, Voice Control, Dynamic Type and dark mode.
- Free: voice input, spoken totals, editing, widgets, the Live Activity and the Apple Watch app, with no ads. Pro (optional subscription): History, Favorites, iCloud sync, CSV and text export, and reusing a past total in a new calculation.
- Siri: say "Voice calculate with Voice Calculator" (the app's Home Screen name is "Voice Calculator").
